Britain’s golden girl Charlotte Dujardin may be the modelling world’s next big thing, with the Olympic gold medalist signing up with London based agency MOT Models.
The company, one of Europe’s leading model agencies, represents advertising, commercial and fashion models. Its sports personalities division also includes rugby player Mike Phillips, windsurfer Bryony Shaw, boxer Luke Campbell, and swimmer Adam Walker. Phillips recently worked on his first modelling job, sporting a clothing collection for Debenhams.
Dujardin’s fellow dressage rider and student, 15-year-old Ottilie Bardsley, has also signed with MOT Models.
Dujardin is one of the best known sportswomen in Britain, having won double gold at the London 2012 Olympics Games, the European and World Championships, and she also holds all three World Records in dressage. She has been the FEI World Number 1 ranked rider for some time and in 2014 was voted The Sunday Times and Sky Sports Sportswoman of the Year as well as the BT Action Woman of the Year.
“I’m really excited to have signed with MOT and can’t wait to work on some exciting projects in this Olympic year. MOT Models was an obvious choice for me because of the experience across the team and the positive atmosphere of agency,” Dujardin said.
The rider also has a clothing collection with Kingsland Equestrian, which will be on the shelves at the end of February, a collection of limited edition headwarmers from Annabel Brocks, and jewellery from Ray Burmester. She is also a brand ambassador for Saracen Horse Feeds.
