Authorities in Kenya have seized 120 kilograms of zebra meat allegedly being moved from Masai Mara Game Reserve to the capital, Nairobi.
The seizure was made by traffic police in Narok, who were manning a road block.
The vehicle carrying the meat refused to stop and was pursued by police.
The car stopped and the two male occupants fled into the bush.
The vehicle was being detained until the owner came to claim it, a police spokesman said.
The game park is promising to increase patrols in bid to stamp out poaching.
