Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) is seeking applications for the new position of jumping director.
ESNZ says the role is additional to the existing jumping team of three. It has been established to support the Jumping Board in its higher level, strategic ambitions.
ESNZ described the position as a management role which is intended to drive the growth of the sport of jumping.
The jumping director will report to the board of ESNZ Jumping and have a day-to-day working relationship with Jumping Board sub-committees and the Show Hunter Executive.
The jumping director will also manage the administration of the sport.
The role carries a high level of autonomy, ESNZ says, and the successful applicant will be responsible for capitalising on current growth in the sport.
